The orchestra

Wiener Royal Orchester

Musicians, soloists and dancers of the Vienna Royal Orchestra bring the music of the Viennese classics to the historic halls of the first district. The ensemble plays in the tradition of the Viennese salon orchestra: strings, winds and a soprano, close enough to see every bow.

Under concertmaster Michal Hudak the orchestra performs on more than 200 evenings a year, joined by soprano Anna Ryan and guest dancers for the waltz and operetta numbers.
